Chronical Solitaire™ ("the App") is a solitaire card game that takes players on a journey through history. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Quick Summary: We collect minimal information needed to provide accounts, sync game progress, and process purchases. After an initial 30-day ad-free grace period, ads may be displayed via Google AdMob. Premium subscribers and users who purchase ad removal enjoy an ad-free experience. All core gameplay works offline.
1. Information We Collect
1a. Account Information
The App offers optional account creation through the following methods:
Guest (Anonymous) Sign-In — A unique anonymous identifier is generated via Firebase Authentication. No personal information is collected.
Email & Password — If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address, password (stored securely by Firebase), and a display name you choose.
Google Sign-In — We receive your Google account name, email, and profile photo URL via Google's OAuth flow.
Apple Sign-In — We receive the information you choose to share through Apple's Sign in with Apple (which may include a relay email address).
Account information is managed by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). See Firebase Privacy.
1b. Game Data Synced to Our Servers
If you are signed in, the following game data may be synced to our servers to enable features like leaderboards, cloud saves, and daily challenges:
Level completion status, scores, and star ratings
Coin balance and power-up inventory
Achievement and collectible progress
Daily challenge completions and streak data
Leaderboard scores (display name and score are visible to other players)
This data is associated with your Firebase user ID and stored on our servers.
1c. Purchase Information
When you make an in-app purchase, we receive a transaction receipt from Apple or Google to verify the purchase on our server. We store:
Product ID and transaction ID
Platform (iOS or Android)
Purchase amount and status
We do not receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).
1d. Push Notification Tokens
If you enable push notifications, we collect your device's push notification token (via Expo Notifications) to send you:
Daily challenge reminders
Streak reminders
Special event or season announcements
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
1e. Information Collected by Third-Party Advertising Services
After the initial 30-day ad-free grace period, the App may display advertisements served by Google AdMob (unless you are a Premium subscriber or have purchased ad removal). When ads are active, Google AdMob may automatically collect:
Device identifiers — Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
Device information — device model, operating system version, screen size
IP address — used for approximate location (country/region level) and fraud prevention
Ad interaction data — impressions viewed, ads clicked, ad engagement metrics
App usage data — session duration and frequency (aggregated)
Local data is the primary data store. Server sync supplements it for cross-device access and leaderboard features.
